If i learn in an automatic car can I drive manual cars

No is the simple answer. If you pass your test in an automatic car then your licence will show this and you are only authorised to drive automatic cars

Yes. I have lived in Horsham for 30 yrs and know the Horsham and surrounding areas really well

How many lessons will I need

Well some people get it quickly and some people take a bit longer. The national average to get a new driver ready for their practical driving test is 47.5 hrs of professional driving instruction.

Am I a fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI)

Yes I am. I have been qualified for 2 years now and have helped many people to achieve their driving licence

Will I always have the same instructor

Yes. I work for myself and all your lessons will be with me

How long are the lessons

My lessons are typically 2 hrs long. This allows us to deal with any problems that the lesson throws up and gives you the chance to leave the lesson having achieved more

Can I have driving lessons with you and use my own car for the driving test

Yes as long you comply with the DVSA rules regarding using your own vehicle such as having a spare rear view mirror for the examiner and that your vehicle is insured for you and the MOT is current

What should I expect in my first lesson

The content of your first lesson will depend on your previous driving experience but will generally include getting to know the vehicle and its controls, some basic manoeuvre's and some basic road rules

Which test centres do you cover

Well my students generally take their driving test in Crawley or Burgess Hill as they are the nearest

If I have lessons with you can I use your car for my driving test

Yes. To date all of my many students have used my car to take their driving test

Will we practice test routes

Yes. I know many of the Crawley and Burgess Hill test routes and once you've learnt basic control of the car we will visit many of the test routes in order to prepare for your driving test

Do you only teach automatic cars

Yes. My own car is automatic and as such I teach students that want to learn to drive an automatic car

What car will I be driving during lessons

I have a new Toyota Yaris cross, Hybrid Electric Vehicle. Its a great car to learn in, and has lots of modern technology that will be in all new cars in the future and I will show you how to drive the car, and use the futuristic tech that's on the vehicle.

How long is the driving test

Its about 35-40 minutes long and involves you driving an examiner around one of the test routes demonstrating your ability to safely control a car

How do I add a new question & answer?

To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.

How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?

You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.

Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?

Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
